We had a wonderful stay here and didnt want to leave!
Our room was beautiful, luxurious and spotless. The service we received from every staff member was extremely professional and helpful, and made us feel very special.
We loved all the small touches, from the pillow menu to the way housekeeping tidied our things with such care.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable experience.

I cannot fault this hotel in any way! Came here with my dog and they supplied such great amenities for her. The rooms are so clean, comfy beds, large bathroom and I absolutely love the vintage aesthetic. Amazing service from all staff with such prompt room service. 1000% I am coming back to stay here again!

The critical reviewer in me wants to give the Langham 4 stars. The room was a little dated, and the view not too exciting, with a construction site and associated noises in the distance.

However, I am compelled to give it 5 stars. The service was excellent (particularly from the foreign staff members). The bed comfortable, which is most important. The bathroom was nicely updated. The hotel has a lovely boutique vibe, I'm sure it has a storied history. The buffet breakfast's were excellent, as was the dinner buffet!

The location of this hotel can't be beat if you want to be in the heart of Sydney. Despite the nearby construction, the hotel still has the best location, on the edge of a quaint old neighborhood. It's also walking distance to all the nearby attractions. We toured the location of many other hotels in the vicinity and I didn't like any of them (too busy, too noisy, too generic etc.) The Crown Plaza has an awful, gaudy, pretentious feel. Returning to Sydney, I would only stay here if visiting the city.

One of the best 5 star hotels in Sydney. This hotel is going for a more vintage vibe which would make it lovely for special occasions. The feel and luxury of the place is second to none. 10/10 service. Their pool is a huge attraction. Hotel has a bar and restaurant.

Beautiful boutique hotel .
I am constantly impressed with the exceptional customer service I receive each and every time I visit this beautiful place. From the moment I check in, the staff are friendly, non judgmental and attentive, always offering assistance with a smile. The entire hotel & rooms are spotless and well-equipped, and the amenities are of the highest quality. The location is also convenient, with plenty of great restaurants and attractions nearby. Their restaurant Kitchens On Kent is lovely so really no need to leave the hotel. Their High Teas are beautiful. Their attention to detail is on point. I could not recommend the Langham Sydney more - their customer service is truly exceptional! 5 stars!

Amazing pool and massage services

Excellent upscale hotel, with nice pool facilities and comfortable rooms. Breakfast downstairs was great, with fresh fruit and perfectly cooked eggs.

Our second time at Kitchens on Kent. Both times, we were served by Ayu who provided service beyond expectations to accommodate our clients, family and friends. Her professionalism and attentiveness contributed to an elevated experience.The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Thank you to the Kitchens on Kent Team at Langham! We'll be back.

This hotel is dog friendly & they go out of their way to make them welcome! I'm SO appreciative of that as although my little dog is well behaved he's very nervous & jumps the fences & escapes in boarding facilities & other's homes. So, this meant I could finally have a little trip away to see Vivid. The food & service here is fabulous for humans too.

Absolutely stunning hotel and location. This is our second stay here and definitely will not be our last. The staff are always extremely attentive. The standard of the hotel is high end and I absolutely love that pets are welcome. We had a wonderful room with a balcony that overlooked the harbour. Whilst we did t have time to use the pool you simply must as it is spectacular and we loved it last time.
Breakfast was a little disappointing as my husband loves a big breakfast and they only had a set menu in which you could only choose 2items.
Other than that we had a wonderful stay

The best hotel in Sydney.

The Location is fantastic. So much history to explore. Its a flat walk to Stargazer park and from here you can catch a lift to Barangaroo or do gentle scenic walks around the Harbour and Rocks . So many great restaurants to chose from .
The staff are exceptional, and their attention to detail is excellent. The spa is amazing. Its kept around 38 and is extremely therapeutic on sore backs and legs, the pool is 28 and long enough for swimming laps. Being in a subterranean space promotes the lovely calming atmosphere . The rooms are spacious with high ceilings & tastefully appointed. Try and book a harbour side room .. the sunsets are beautiful and its fun watching the ferries and cruise ships fly by.

We attended a high tea for children during school holiday
The presentation was superb, Excellent service and children enjoyed the variety of delicious pastry prepared by the chef who came out to say hello,

This Hotel is truly amazing. The best part comes in the staff, who will go out of their way to help you whether it be giving detailed directions, and even maps. This is a true 5-star experience.

This was an extravagance. I do not normally frequent 5 star hotels, so this review might be positively biased!

The hotel is beautifully appointed with big spacious rooms. The staff are excellent, discrete and professional.

The breakfast options were varied, very good quality and copious.

The indoor pool and jacuzzi were clean, inviting and very pleasant.

Of course, it is expensive! Way more than I would normally consider paying for 2 nights' accommodation. But we wanted a special experience and we were not disappointed.

One of my favourite hotels in Sydney - the food and ambience of the hotel is stunning, the spa is simply magical and pool is just wonderful!

The staff at the Langham Sydney are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the rooms are serviced very well. A lovely place to stay. Highly recommended.

Finally a restaurant that is quiet enough to hear conversations, has comfortable seats, delicious food and great service.

A very nice and quiet place to relax

Gorgeous hotel!
All staff were lovely, polite and helpful. The room was very clean comfortable. View of the harbor at night was beautiful. The curtains in the room were very good at keeping out the light, had a great sleep.
The heated pool, hot tub and steam room were very clean and a nice addition.
Breakfast had a big variety and all delicious. If we could afford it we would stay more often.

The hotel is refined albeit a little small in the lounge areas. Perfectly situated within the quaint and quiet surrounds of leafy sandstone houses I love to sip their cocktails and have quiet conversations in the early afternoon

As an Australian who's not used to international standards of luxury hospitality, some interactions with the staff felt uncomfortable to me, but it was great service either way.

Old school luxury. Great location tucked away but close to everything. Staff are professionally trained and attention to detail is apparent. Big rooms. Great hotel bar as well.

Came for my 30th birthday for two nights. It was a beautiful hotel. The staff were soo welcoming and kind. The in room dinning was great the food was great everything was great.

Beautiful hotel.
They made not only our anniversary feel special. But they gave us a basket full of baby Moisturisers, bubble bath ( nappies = wrong size) but it was the thought that counts.
The room was clean and they did a turn down service with chocolate. Extra bonus.
The staff were lovely in every location of the hotel.
The breakfast was delicious and the spa was to die for.
We will be returning!

One of the prettiest hotels I have stayed in. Rooms were very beautiful, very spacious. They have a virtual butler service where you message and its instantly actioned.
The only downside is I felt its still a bit of a walk from nearest train station/ light rail. Will not be an issue for most though as most of the people staying here will be taking a cab/uber I am sure.

Nice food

I recently stayed at The Langham Sydney with my family before my wedding. I am so glad I picked this hotel as they went above and beyond my expectations. The hotel is not only beautiful, the restaurant and buffet was AMAZING! Top quality food & great service. All the staff members were very attentive and cared so much about m big day. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. I booked my parents in for a few extra nights and the absolutely loved it!!!

Had a fabulous stay in the Sydney Langham. From the minute we walked through the doors we were made to feel welcome. The room was beautiful and so comfortable. The spa is so relaxing, book a massage if you stay.

The hotel was just amazing, from every element our family stay cay was amazing.
The team made sure our stay was on point, from front office, to house keeping, room service and the hotel manager (Shane) - everyone was just amazing.

The best city hotel in Sydney

I have stayed numerous times at Langham's and it is a wonderful hotel.
I wanted to give a shout-out to the Langham Pink Taxi service. We booked James and his pink London cab for the day and had the best time. James is so professional and knowledgeable and I highly recommend using his services.

So comfortable and calm with standard 5 star hotel service. The room decoration looks like an old hotel but still looks cool and classy. All our needs are well met, Very comfortable staying here.

We spend our 3 days vacation in this hotel, the first eye makes us love it a lot from the feeling of luxury and extraordinary . And the smell, service, decos, and etc are all excellent. The service is great, I can get almost instant responses online 24 hours. Although it happens some unexpected problems during our stays, the compensation was good enough to get rid of any complain.

This hotel is highly recommended because the service is very satisfying and helps all hotel guests' needs. All facilities are available, especially the room facilities which are clean, quite spacious and of course comfortable for resting.

Clearly you expect more from a top quality hotel and the Langham lived up to its billing. Rooms were great and the pool was the best we have had on our holiday. However, the biggest differentiator was the quality of the staff who were impeccable in politeness and service. A special shout out to Stephen, one of the bar personnel, who was as good as anyone I can remember doing such a role e.g. even though Virgin Mojito wasnt on the bar list, it was my partners birthday and he made one for her. We were also really pleased about being upgraded with a harbour view, and the only downside was the noise from local construction work going on. Thank you.

A great boutique hotel with state-of-the-art swimming pool located in a historical neighbourhood. Though some says the hotel is quite dated but to me it was done on purpose to inscribe the look and feel of a timeless history into the brand of Langham.

No hotel will provide you with 100%, that is humanely impossible because life is flawed. However, service here is truly the best in the world! I have been to over 35 countries & I have NEVER in my life experienced service as good as here. Everyone goes above & beyond! I only took a star off for the room because of all the mosquitoes. If they can get that under control itll be a 5/5. I could not imagine visiting Sydney and not staying here. Dont believe all the negative reviews, this place is a true gem! BOOK THE ROOM!

I dont write reviews, Infact it was hard to find out how to write this. But I had to for the Langham Sydney.
I travel the world all year round, I am fortunate enough to stay in many wonderful hotels and I most certainly know what I like.
The team at the Langham, Sydney are undoubtedly one of the best globally. From the housekeeping staff, the porter team, the restaurant staff, everyone!
I will most definitely be booking myself and everyone I know travelling to Sydney into this hotel! What a beautiful experience, thank you!!
Also the rooms are a 10/10. The beds, design and soft furnishings, lighting everything is absolutely beautiful.

Thanks again to this incredible team!! I can not wait to come back here and visit again soon!!!!!!!

*I will note, do not book the spa treatments. Book another thats close by such as the Crown literally across from the hotel and well known for their services. (same price bracket)
The staff arent trained here unfortunately, and some are pretty rude.

The Langham Sydney is our go to when we visit Sydney. There is no other hotel in Australia that we have stayed at that begins to touch them in their level of service. When we walk through the doors I take a deep breath of the beautifully perfumed foyer and think Im home (I wish!).

Great location in the historic area of The rocks, but easy walking distance to Wynyard and the new metro.

We have stayed in almost every room type and all are beautiful. Beds and pillows are beyond comfy. Rooms are quiet despite the bustle of Kent street on evening during vivid or other events.

If I was looking for bad things to say; the rooms are starting to get a little worn and my last two visits I noticed a pretty musty smell in both rooms. I worry it maybe on its way to be like the Melbourne property. For now it is beautiful and worth the money when compared to other properties in Sydney.
