St. George Sailing Club Weddings

Best venue in the local area with stunning views and ambience. Highly recommended. It is my new favourite local place.

The food is on the higher side, mains ($32- $52) though good quality. Favourite dishes, the oysters, prawn pasta, pork belly & spice rubbed chicken. Some good wines on the menu for quite reasonable prices too.

Have also came with a group of 17, service was excellent, shared menu with lamb shoulder was delicious and heaps of food! Staff very helpful and accommodating. Pretty good coffee as well.

Convenient opening hours from lunch through to dinner. The membership for locals is high at $25, though includes good discounts.

St George has been needing something like this, and the new renovations have created a bright, stylish and cool venue with plenty of seating and stunning views.

What a great place with an uninterrupted view; in and out of the restaurants are aesthetically pleasing with a great selection of beers too. I had a great Friday evening just enjoying the sunset with a couple of drinks. Indoor is fully booked so if you're interested gotta make that reservation first :)

The new club has been built really well! So open and has a great relaxed vibe. Staff were friendly. The only thing they can probably improve on is the pizzas as they were a bit like cardboard with hardly any topping. Otherwise, everything great!

Always lovely day here, food atmos.. all good. if I had only one improvement, I dont think anyone would notice if you switched off the tellies in the dining room for the lunch service, they are only a distraction from the amazing view already on offer. keep up the great work guys

Shared a falafel salad and Brussel sprout side for a late lunch. Both delicious and different. Beautiful day and scored a table outside in the last suns rays. Then moved to the other side with another great view. Great spot

Amazing venue with 3 sides on the water. The food is great ! The regular staff are friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. Great facilities and very clean!

There were 6 of us for a birthday dinner. We had booked so there was no trouble with seating. The food was delicious, everyone at the table had something different and everybody raved about their meal. My son said that "it was the juiciest steak he had tasted. We will definatley be going back again. Hubby was also happy with the range of beers on tap. A lovely outlook. We are going to join the club as we intend going back and their is member discounts.

One of my favourite clubs to visit love the atmosphere and quality of food .Service is very good a nice relaxed way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The lamb and cheese cake were sensational.

What an incredible suprise!! The St George Sailing Club recently reopened and is well worth a visit for a meal, drink or even to take in the building / views!! The stunning building is etched over the water, with beautiful windows from floor to ceiling and wall to wall so more patrons get a view.
Lighting, music, decor gorgeous! Staff were super friendly, pleasant and all had smiles! Food was fantastic, hot, good portion sizes and came out relatively fast.

A stunning location. We went there for lunch. The premises are light and airy and modern, and very, very clean. The service was very friendly, professional and quick. The food was exquisite. The ambiance was relaxed and we could actually hear ourselves talk. We will be going there many many more times! Wheelchair friendly with lots of parking.

We LOVE this club. The food is incredible, we have been so many times and tried the entire menu and loved each dish. The staff are amazing, attentive and friendly. The management (Jimil we have had alot) go above and beyond to assist you while visiting and always make you feel at home whilst there. Couldn't recommend it anymore if I tried. The view is a bonus, especially at sun set it is amazing. X

I've been in hospitality for longer than I care to share and this is one of the slickest waterfront operations I've seen. The team, fully engaged friendly people giving great service.
The food, enticing on the plate and delicious.
Naturally, the location and fit-out add to the appeal, but this takes sailing clubs to the next level. Please save a table for me.

We just had family birthday dinner at St George Sailing Club and I must say, it was an amazing experience! First of all, we were given a table that had gorgeous views of Georges river and the bridge. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and they made our night even more enjoyable. Their recommendations of food and drinks were on point and really added to the overall experience. The beautiful presentation of each dish was maintained throughout. Overall it was a perfect dinner and an great night for all of us. Definitely looking forward to visiting again soon! Highly recommend!

Shear luxury, great coffee, food, spectacular sea views and lots of beautiful people makes this place the gem in the Sandringham and Sans Souci area to visit!

This spot is my go-to hidden gem for quiet dining with my family. The meals are not only fresh but also generously portioned, and the prices are reasonable. They excel at brewing good coffee, and the variety of table and seating options adds to the appeal. Perched above water, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, especially when sipping on a glass of wine. I'm definitely looking forward to revisiting for another family gathering.

I have only gone out for drinks here but it is so lovely. The venue is new and so impressive. It is bright, lots of natural light and nice places to sit. Beautiful views, highly recommend!

The food was amazing and all the staff were very friendly. We didn't need to wait very long for the food to come out and it was reasonably priced.
My only recommendations are:
1) Provide glasses for people wanting to drink water. I'm in my fifties and old enough NOT to drink out of a dirty plastic cup (it had lipstick stains).
2) Provide signage and instructions for first time people about where and how to find their pre-booked tables - we walked around through both rooms searching for our table and after that, we then noticed people coming to a central reception spot right next to our booked table.
3) Provide a quieter eating area, or turn the music down so people can hear each other at their own tables.
That all said, we had a great time and will happily return.

The food and service was great would highly recommend going back to try other menu selections

Very nice option for a lunch with a view.
We came on a Sunday lunch time/12pm with no booking but we were welcomed and got a nice table.
Orders are made by app/Qr code and the portions were generous and tasty. Good selection of beers on tap as well.
Easy parking and friendly staff, would definitely recommend it.

Large roomy venue with two dining areas one on the eastern side, the other on the western side. They have a special evening dining dish at a bargain price, large parking area but it can get parked out due to popularity!

Meals have improved since last time we were here, both the Salmon Cakes and the Schnity were great. Garlic Turkish bread was cold, but still quite eatable. Busy place on sunny day but the tables do change over quickly.

Fantastic private venue, and really delicious and great food! The service was a little slow as long wait times between meals being served (assume as it was a busy day), however waitstaff were friendly, and attentive always wearing a smile to assist

We held our sons christening reception here on Sunday. Service and Food was excellent. Highly recommend this place for private events! The only negative I can comment is the music and sound from the adjoining room was transferring across to our section which made it difficult to do speeches.

The meals are reasonably priced and taste good. A great place to take photos of the sunset in the evening!

Im surprised to read the negative reviews. We eat at high end places often. This was purely to check out the Renos! We were extremely impressed with everything. People also need to understand theyre are at a club not a top hat restaurant. I was surprised about the comments about staff they couldnt have been friendlier if they tried! Im very particular with food and this will be a place Ill be taking friends and family to!

Wow. Really great spot and very popular. Great dinning spaces and outlooks. We where there for the MJ Nationals and what a great facility for dinghy sailing. It's a very thought out design that accommodates different uses and groups of the community.

What a fantastic space for drinks or a long lunch with family and friends, but be sure to book a table, especially on the weekend.

We went on a Sunday for lunch, and without a booking, we were able to score a few tables in the front section of the bistro (left from the registration counter). We scanned the qr code, ordered, and paid through the app because the order queue (in person) was crazy. Drinks and the meals all got delivered to the table, and we had a decent view of the shoreline too. A little waiting time was expected, but it wasn't too bad considering how busy it was.

We'll be back!

Lunch on Australia Day 2024 was great fun. Very welcoming staff. The area is clean and very well thought out. Meals and drinks are very expensive, but very enjoyable.

If Views are a big thing, see if you can book on the left side.

We only ordered Entrees, 4 of them, which were huge. Didn't need anything else.

Our group of 8 had a beautiful evening at this club. The staff could not have been more helpful or courteous. The food was well presented and tasted fabulous The night view of Taren Pt Bridge and the river just added to the ambience. Definitely recommend.

The venue is lovely. The decor and stunning setting provides an effortlessly relaxed vibe. The staff are attentive, professional and friendly. The barramundi was delicious although the absolute star of the menu was definitely the brussel sprouts side - absolutely sensational. This will be my new local favourite. Thank you for a splendid afternoon.

SGSC did a fantastic job for our mothers 70th lunch celebration! Beautiful venue and delicious, fresh, well presented food! Angela, the events manager, was very responsive and answered all questions we had in a professional manner even with our last minute changes. Laura and team had superior customer service skills meeting the food and drink needs of all our guests with a smile and assisting with our audio visual issues. Thank you, we highly recommend this venue!

Great venue, fantastic food and service. Very busy but the food came out surprisingly quick. Decent sized menu, with something to please everyone. We had the garlic bread, polenta chips, calamari, a pizza, schnitzel, salad, fish & steak. Some servings were huge.

Excellent meal once again. Service is very good with friendly and efficient staff. Cannot beat the slow braised lamb shoulder. Probably enough for 4 but 3 of us polished it off.

Great venue with excellent dining. Sitting out on the deck on a sunny day made it perfect. The service was fast and friendly. It can get busy so consider making a booking.
