From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was something special. From the friendly greeting at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout our stay and event, their dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was evident. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and catered to our every need, making our experience truly memorable.

One of the highlights of our visit was having our family and friends join us from all corners of Australia and even across the ditch. Lake Crackenback Resort provided the perfect setting for our gathering, with ample accommodation options to suit everyone's preferences. The resort's facilities and activities catered to a variety of interests, ensuring that each guest had something enjoyable to partake in.

The natural beauty surrounding Lake Crackenback Resort is simply awe-inspiring. We were spoiled for choice when it came to outdoor activities. From hiking and mountain biking to fishing and kayaking on the pristine lake, there was never a dull moment. Exploring the Snowy Mountains' breathtaking trails and landscapes was an absolute delight especially with Fresh snow for a couple of our days, leaving us with memories to cherish for a lifetime.

When can I move in?

The cafe was fantastic.

Beautiful resort area for quiet and relaxing holiday or weekend away. Lots of activities for kids and family with hiking and biking tracks. The resort has special function facilities, restaurant and kiosk to get basic essentials. As it is a resort, it's reasonable priced, not overly expensive. Lots of wildlife in and around the resort area. Really enjoyed our stay.

What a beautiful place! Such stunning scenery. We had a modern and comfortable 2-bedroom chalet. Staff were very helpful. So much to do - canoeing, biking, hiking. Had a wonderful stay.

Were already planning our next trip. We booked a studio room for 3 adults, and the room was amazing, spacious, well equiped kitchen, large bathroom, even came with a fire place and sauna. The resorts many activities, trails, pool, and restaurants kept us very busy. Only note to future visitors is most of the rooms dont have wifi, so dont forget a Bluetooth speaker and download some movies in advance.

Expensive. Stylish. Great wedding venue. Professional event staff on song. Pity you can't control the weather!

Great place. Such a beautiful venue. Rooms extremely clean, beds very comfortable. Great actvities and free activities for thw kids. The only thing I would have to say that was slightly disappointing was the breakfast. Oily Bacon, hashbrowns more like potato scallops.

Impeccable serenity! The resort is amazing! 10/10.
The location is impeccable and the tranquillity of the place is divine. My partner and I stayed in a 2 bedroom mountain chalet for 3 nights which was lovely and spacious, it's quite expensive but most places in the area are.

Everything's in walking distance. You're like 600ms from the skitube to go to Perisher. Thredbo is about a 15 minute drive.
There's an on-site gym , sauna and indoor pool. Plenty of activities for children and family alike.
There were some deer around in the mornings. Cute deer like Bambi, not like Sydney deer .

I genuinely rate this resort 10/10

The only negatives would be Alpine Cafe. The food is not that great IMO. The breakfast buffet at Cuisine was nice enough, just your typical breakfast buffet with selection of hot food, fruits, yoghurt, and cereals.

This was our first snow i trip and I'd definitely stay here again.

Our apartment had WiFi, garage parking, gas heating and a kitchen w enough equipment to host a party.

This is the most amazing place to stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the rooms were great with self-contained everything, and right on the lake. We stayed at the start of winter and the snow magically arrived for us. The mountain bike tracks look great too, a summer stay would be great too. There is plenty to entertai the kids, and perfect for families. It is close enough to Jindabyne for top up supplies, and central to all the good snow places. We'd love to come back.

Incredible place to stay, the resort is picturesque with quality accommodation, lovely staff and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!

Awesome for a family or solo getaway

Very close to Perisher Skitube and very beautiful lake around the corner. I may stay there for days even without go skiing

Amazing spot.

Great spot to stay, loads to do at the resort and a great spot to access the ski tube which is 2 mins away. They even provide a shuttle to and from the ski tube! Buffet breakfast is top notch.
Saw lots of wildlife in the walks around the property, wombats, wallabies, deer and lots of birds.
Been coming for five years and the kids have loved it too

My husband and I stayed at Jindabyne and came out to Lake Crackenback Resort for a day trip. It was FANTASTIC! The views are beautiful and the activities are great. We loved the archery setup there. The walk was so peaceful and the lunch was super delicious! The meal sizes were more than generous. Definitely worth visiting.

The beautician there is just lovely

At the nearby Crackenback resort there is a very nice resort where you can relax and enjoy some nice food in the restaurant as well as relax and enjoy the view. The Accor group is responsible for the management of this resort. In addition to the many outdoor activities for the children in the area, there are also some beautiful vantage points from which you can take some pictures.
This place is nice and quiet, there is plenty of parking space available in this area, and the neighborhood is well kept.

Situated midway between Jindabyne and Thredbo the resort is about 20 minutes driving to either location. It has comprehensive facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool in winter. Lots of things to do and focusing on kids. A great place to go.

Stunning location, staff are fantastic

I haven't stayed over night yet in any of the resorts accommodation yet so I cannot comment on that. Although, I have spent plenty of time at Lake crackenback doing activities such as golf, archery, hiking, fishing, exploring and mountain bike riding. All activities are of high standards and all equipment hired at one simple shop. The place is gorgeous and depending on the time of year you are here determines the activities available. I did a loop track on my mountain bike which was free to ride and even free rather secure parking areas. Everybody you seem to meet around the place has a smile on there face or is happy to be there.
So if your either passing by or planning a luxury weekend at the spa, crackenback resort seems to provide this at a true 5 star level.

such a great place, go here evry two years for christmas and it never seems to disapoint me. staff very kind and room very clean . i sugest going here

We booked the Mountain Hotel Suite expecting to be in a Hotel. However its a mountain resort made up of units, apartments and houses. Our Mountain Hotel Suite with promised Mountain Views was a ground floor room with a view of our car and the car for the room upstairs. It was a duplex with an adjoining door for the upstairs room.
The room itself was gorgeous, extremely well appointed but who wants to look out at their car all day? Also, there was nought in the way of privacy. To enjoy the view you would have to have the blinds open meaning anyone and everyone gets a view of you in bed.
Reception promptly closes at 5pm and there are NO PHONES in the units. So you have to go back to reception to use the phone there for after hours.
Fortunately the very lovely Bobbie (she was lovely when she checked us in, warm, kind and knowledgeable) let us back in - I note she didnt have to do this as it was already 5.10pm
When we explained that the room wasnt in keeping with what we were expecting, she, and her colleague from reservations, Kate, went to great lengths to move us. Whilst we offered to pay for any change/upgrade they wouldnt hear of it - they only wanted to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We were moved to another unit (which was superior) but more importantly, private, quiet, and with uninterrupted mountains views. Fulfilling our expectations and more. Thank you Bobbi and Kate for making our stay so much more than it could have been.

Great place to get away been coming here for 15 year you can do as little as you like or you can do lots things. Great walks and fishing

Beautiful place. Could relax or play here. Plenty for kids to do. Has everything and close to Thredbo and about 45 mins to Charlotte Pass in summer.

We were there 2 weeks ago, had a lovely stay with my sister and hubby, only got 1day of rain plenty to do eat and see , nice and quiet off season not to many people about and all the restaurants were open lovely resort will be back
