I make sure I try and blend in which includes wearing appropriate wedding clothing.  Most of my clients tell me “I hardly noticed you there”.  I am always aware and courteous of your guests and hate to get in their way.

I have huge respect for photographers and I understand that they are trying to get the best shots too.  I work along side your photographer and let them do what they need to do.  I am aware of where they are and what shots they are trying to get so if I am in the way I quickly move if I can.

Boys
It can depend on what your photographer wants too but I think having the boys ready to jump in their suits or at least in their pants and shirts ready to get dressed on camera once I arrive.

Girls
With the girls it is ideal for the bride to still be casual that way I can still get shots of the dress and jewellery separately. But it is good for the bridesmaids/parents/others to be ready so they can help the bride put on her dress.

If in the event I can’t film your wedding depending on how much notice there is I will offer a full refund or get a replacement operator who I trust to replace or work along side me.

I do use multiple cameras I always have, specially during those moments like your ceremony, speeches and bridal dance.  Having more than one camera means I can capture more memories of the day.

Yes.  Even though I use multiple cameras it is usually just me there on the day.  Some weddings do require a second camera operator because logistically it is impossible to capture everything.  I will suggest this if I think it is needed.

Once your wedding day happens I will download all your footage onto a secure hard drive and offsite back up. Once it is time to start the editing of your wedding I will go to work piecing it all together to create a beautiful video you will love. Once I have finished I will send you a preview copy for you to review and make small adjustments if needed (most clients don’t). Then I will finish it off and send you the copies.

I say to clients the turn around time after their wedding is 3 -4 months.  I will often get it done before then but I never want to rush yours or another clients video if I get busy.

I will often spend about an hour at each preparation (sometimes a bit longer at the brides).  I arrive 30mins before the ceremony starts to make sure everything is setup ready to record.  The rest of the day is dictated by your photos and then reception.

Sound is a huge part of your wedding day and capturing it is just as important as the video.  I use a variety of recorders and microphones to insure I capture it clearly.  I put a microphone recorder on the groom so it picks up your vows.  I will try and get a direct line from your celebrant/minister and band/DJ to capture  those moments clearly.  My attitude is to have as many audio sources as possible because you can’t capture those moments again.

Yes I do, otherwise I will be very hungry and I might pass out during your bridal dance.

Packages start from $2,350 for 6-hour coverage, with most couples booking 8–10 hours from $2,550–$2,750. Full-day, 12-hour coverage is $2,950, and add-ons like Extended Highlights ($750) or a Full Length Documentary Edit ($800) can take a fully-loaded booking beyond $3,500.

A $500 deposit locks in your date, with the balance due 2 weeks before your wedding.
