Southport Yacht Club Weddings

Southport Yacht Club, established in 1946, is located in the Gold Coast district of Queensland, Australia. The Main Beach club provides panoramic views of the club’s private 300 yacht marina and the Southport Broadwater. The club hosts waterfront weddings in several function spaces.

Weddings at Southport Yacht Club

Garden wedding ceremonies take place on the eastern lawn. The Boardroom Café and Western Deck, which features a private lawn area and beach, seats 70 guests. The Compass Room, highlighted by floor to ceiling glass windows, accommodates 160 seated guests. The club showcases the world’s first pontoon bar, Waterscape, ideal for ceremonies and cocktail parties.

Wedding packages include The Premium Package, The Platinum Package, and The Ultimate Package. All packages provide the services of a Wedding Coordinator, room decorations, and a private bar. Beverage packages, which include local and international beer and wine, are offered. Southport Yacht Club provides a list of preferred suppliers.

Dreamworld, a theme park and zoo famous for having the biggest gravity roller coaster in the southern hemisphere, is situated on the Gold Coast. Other Gold Coast destinations include Sea World, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Warner Brothers Movie World, and Wet n' Wild Water Park.
