Gold Coast Cruises 'The Lady' Weddings

We recently attended a pop up wedding on The Lady and it was beautiful. Danni, the host and celebrant, is exceptional at her job and the decorations to present the boat in a romantic wedding theme are really well done. Was a beautiful spot for a wedding!

After picking a place for a 50th birthday party we looked into their pop up weddings package and after being together for 26 years, my partner and I decided to finally get married on board. Danielle took care of everything for us, including the ceremony itself. We couldn't have asked for a better location (or package) to help us give our guest a big surprise and see us finally be married to each other. With this package, everything was taken care of for us, thus was great as we spent the week prior going on a cruise overseas and didn't have any contact to anyone (or choice). We returned the day before and Danielle had it all under control for us. Food was plentiful and delicious, decorations were taken care of and she was even able to help us keep it a secret from our family and friends until they arrived on board. Thanks for helping make our day special

We had our wedding in The Lady in 15/10/22. It was a fabulous evening and Danielle and Eddie were amazing to deal with the whole way through. We wouldn't change a thing. We also used Shirley Hans Photography, one of their business partners, and her photos were fabulous and very reasonable. Thoroughly recommend this venue to host a spectacular wedding. They are also very accommodating and go the extra mile to give you the personal touches you need to make your event, your event. I was invited to a friends surprise birthday late last year. I was so impressed with the staff and the whole atmosphere/idea, that I decided i would book to celebrate my 60th birthday there also. From start to finish the whole experience has been wonderful. From communication leading up to the event and the night being a great success, I would highly recommend for you to hold your special occasion on "The Lady" for a hassle free, enjoyable and memorable time. Nothing is to hard for these guys they made our wedding day just so special. The vendors they work with are also top notch - flowers, cake and make-up everything was perfect and easy to organise. My husband and I recently had our much anticipated wedding onboard "The Lady" and loved every moment of our day. A month later our guests are still talking about how perfect the venue was and how amazing Danni, Eddie and all the crew on board were.

From the very first moment we spoke with Eddie, to being welcomed onboard for a Sunday Cruise and meeting Danni the process has been friendly, easy and stress free. So much so, I want to do it all over again. As it should be our wedding day was the absolute best day of our lives.

Cannot recommend Danni enough, she was accommodating and helpful with all our requests. Even if some of them were a little out of the box.

I had my birthday here on MARCH 15th 2024 and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Everything but the weather worked out. Communication with Danni was great from the start even though she was super busy , she was still able to squeeze time in for me to have a look at the boat and talk about my event. Rules were straight forward no smoking on the lower deck and no one in the captains area I loved how afforable it was : it included the styling of my event sashs for the chairs, table cloths, centerpieces, cake stand. Food was per person so i just done nibbles bar staff were great and captain was a good sort too with communicating when we were docking. Loved every moment on the boat , I would highly recommend booking your event here for the affordability and the overall exsperience . Its one of the best memories created and that for me is priceless I would definitly book again

Firstly Danni the host is fantastic! Her organisation skills, adaptability and professionalism is second to none. Danni takes all the hard work out of the organisation of a wedding including everything cake, food , makeup, flowers and whatever you can think of. Its hard to believe the stress free day you have.
Danni delivers the ceremony professionally and with a warm smile.
The boat is wonderful and we enjoyed a twilight cruise whilst drinking and dancing.
The food was delicious. Service from staff was truly outstanding and there was never a dry mouth.

Highly recommended using Gold Coast cruises The Lady Had 70th Birthday Party that was arranged from Sydney. Danni is extremely easy to deal with and accommodating. Did Virtual tour of the vessel chose decor, given options and arranged with ease. Every part of the cruise exceeded expectation and every aspect was taken care of for us with absolutely no stress. The Food, the Crew, the decor was on point!!!
