Adelaide Hills Garden Wedding Venues

The Blanc Canvas is a garden venue that is part of The Establishment 1858 along with a quaint, white 1850s cottage that is home to the White House restaurant. The one-acre property recalls the early settlement of Hahndorf when blocks consisted of a dwelling at the street and an open area in the back for crops, an orchard, and livestock. Today, the garden and back paddock areas are reserved for weddings.

Surrounded by heritage listed bushland, Deviation Road Winery offers three settings for wedding ceremonies. Couples can exchange vows on a grassy hill shaded by gum trees, a landscaped garden, or undercover on The Deck. Comida Catering, specialising in modern Australian and
innovative Spanish influenced cuisine, provides food for the reception.

Inglewood Inn provides a beautiful setting for wedding ceremonies among native flora gardens. Receptions in an open glass function room follow the ceremony. Most of the garden changes season to season, with each one offering unique photo opportunities. In addition, Gollop’s Bridge, with its ivy covered arch, is on the property. Brides are advised to keep their bouquets away from William the goat.

Wallis Auchendarroch House and Tavern is an elegant nineteenth century home that overlooks gardens and a lawn area. Wedding ceremonies are held in the Heritage Rose Garden or under the heritage listed oak tree. The Ballroom and Robert Charles Room are available for large weddings receptions and well-appointed smaller rooms are available for intimate weddings. Wedding events can be held in conjunction with the adjoining Wallis Mt Barker Cinemas.

Built in the 1940s, Stangate House is a heritage house that is set on four acres. The building overlooks a camellia garden that has been recognised as an International Camellia Garden of Excellence. Couples have exclusive use of the garden for their wedding ceremony, and receptions can be held in the Drawing Room or in the garden.

Tally Ho Lodge is a circa 1900s country house that is nestled in an old world garden. Original back to back fireplaces highlight the venue’s wedding reception room. The family-owned venue specialises in small boutique weddings with finger food receptions. Wedding ceremonies take place in a Victorian-style gazebo.

Talunga Estate, located on a slight rise, features gardens that show off over 55 white standard roses and views of nearby vineyards. An inviting indoor function room, with contemporary décor, complements the outdoor wedding spaces.

Adelaide Hills garden wedding venues provide a romantic wedding atmosphere.
