The Auditorium

The Auditorium is truly enchanting. On entry the ornate gates and sweeping marble staircase leading to the Main Foyer provide the ideal location for pre-dinner drinks. The soaring decorative ceilings and striking centre stage of the Auditorium provide a unique setting for weddings, concerts, product launches, banquets, theatre performances, celebratory events and meetings. It’s renowned as one of the finest acoustic venues in Australia and features flexible staging, in-house sound and lighting facilities, and the capacity to hire the Walker & Sons organ, or its partner, a Steinway Grand Piano.

Banqueting Room

Offering a generous feeling of space and a sense of elegance, this ornately Victorian era room exudes grandeur and majesty. The Banqueting Room is the perfect venue for elegant and refined wedding celebrations, stylish dinners, unique cocktail receptions, intimate gatherings and any business occasion. Detailed craftsmanship adorns the walls and the graciously high ceilings are complemented by solid bronze chandeliers; eliminating the need for additional theming.  Included in your room hire is a lectern with microphone, low dais stage and banquet style lighting.

The Balcony

The Balcony boasts Victorian grandeur with towering arches and views of the city to create the perfect ambience for a range of events. Impress your guests with pre-dinner drinks, a cocktail reception or an intimate luncheon or dinner on the impressive balcony poised above the hub of Adelaide City.

Meeting Hall

Located behind the iconic Adelaide Town Hall is the Meeting Hall. Built in 1862 as a school room and lecture hall it offers a unique and private venue setting that combines historical appeal with modern indulgence. Ample space, vaulted high ceilings and timber floors preserve the character of the era and provide a unique back drop to impress your guests. Ideal for wedding ceremonies or receptions, corporate meetings and workshops, the Meeting Hall boasts an inbuilt stage, fixed theatre lighting and sound.

The Adelaide Town Hall presents you with three rooms to choose from; Prince Alfred Room, David Spence Room and Green Room to create the perfect conference space. Each room offers a unique experience suitable for your next board meeting, seminar, cocktail reception or intimate dining experience.
