Before we introduced Crab Apple Hire & Style, there was Crab Apple Vintage, a concept born from the creative minds of Martina and Leigh. Our vision was to create a delightful collection of recycled, upcycled, and eco-friendly treasures, which quickly blossomed into a bustling shop. It was the ideal backdrop for planning our own wedding, so in 2013, we picked a date and chose the enchanting Tinonee on NSW's Mid North Coast to celebrate our love. We envisioned a wedding that blended vintage charm, rustic chic, and a touch of 1920s glamour. However, we soon realized that local venues and hire services didn't quite reflect the style we were dreaming of.

This realization sparked the creation of Crab Apple Hire & Style. Driven by our passion, we began sourcing vintage chairs and decor, while skilled carpenters crafted beautiful recycled Kauri Pine trestle tables. Once our wedding festivities concluded, we found ourselves with a fabulous collection of wedding and event items ready for others to enjoy. Word spread quickly, and our hire business took off, as many couples sought to infuse their celebrations with unique vintage and recycled touches.

As our journey continued, our hire offerings expanded organically, fueled by client requests and our enthusiasm for discovering and commissioning new, exciting pieces. Today, Crab Apple Hire & Style boasts an extensive inventory of vintage and bespoke reclaimed timber items across a variety of styles, including industrial, rustic, country, vintage, modern, coastal, and boho--essentially, whatever look you desire.

And then came the memorable year of 2020! We tied the knot! We're thrilled to announce some exciting news! While the world was navigating through isolation, The Wedding Designer and Crab Apple Hire & Style (which now includes Little Wren Flowers) officially came together in matrimony, and we couldn't be more overjoyed. This partnership has been in the making for quite some time, and we seized the opportunity during lockdown to take our love to new heights.
