I'm Kyla Helgeson, and my heart is filled with a few essential loves: my husband Brett, our children Nate and Emily, my extended family and friends, and of course, my passion for flowers. It's this delightful balance that brings me true joy.

To offer the best service to my brides and event clients while managing my passions, I've launched an online store showcasing floral designs from The White Orchid Floral Design portfolio. This convenient platform allows busy brides and event planners to effortlessly order their floral arrangements for weddings or special occasions.

My enthusiasm for wedding flowers ignited during my own wedding day 15 years ago. The moment my bridal bouquet arrived, I was captivated by the magic it brought to the occasion. That experience sparked my desire to pursue a career centered around wedding florals.

Starting my floral journey, I transitioned from a background in Art/Design teaching to follow my passion for flowers. In 2004, I enrolled in Floral Design at TAFE SA, earning my Certificate II in Retail Floristry. I then gained valuable experience working with both large and small florists across Adelaide.

My journey also took me to New York, where I participated in a master class focused on Advanced Wiring Techniques for weddings. Studying at the Flower School New York alongside Master Florist Felipe Sastre not only honed my skills but also ignited fresh inspiration for my floral designs.

Thanks to word-of-mouth referrals, I've built a reputation for crafting beautiful, unique, and creative floral arrangements. Now, I specialize in wedding and event floral design from my home studio, conveniently located near the CBD. Working from home allows me to source flowers exclusively for bridal and event orders from top-notch growers, ensuring they are always fresh. With 16 years of experience in floral design, I would be thrilled to help bring your floral dreams to life for your wedding or event.
