When Kate Sice started dreaming about launching another flower shop, she envisioned bringing stylish and simple floral arrangements to Hobart, all presented with a timeless flair. With over 25 years of expertise in the floral industry, Kate has managed flower shops in both Western Australia and Tasmania. After spending several years in hospitality and event coordination, her love for flowers and everything botanical could no longer be contained.

The journey of Botanical began in 2014 when Kate found the perfect storefront she had always desired. In just three days, she transformed a charming yet worn-down shop featuring a stunning pressed tin ceiling into her dream space. After a month of careful and passionate restoration, the little shop at 139 Macquarie Street became affectionately known as 'The Baby shop.'

Botanical blossomed into a quirky flower studio nestled in Hobart's historic CBD and eventually expanded to Botanical West Hobart, a much-needed larger location. Opened in 2019, this new store embodies all things botanical and beautiful--a creative haven for exploration and inspiration. Just a quick 5-minute drive from the original location, the lovely white corner shop at 187 Warwick Street, West Hobart, features another exquisite pressed tin ceiling and now serves as Botanical's vibrant new home.

This spacious shop, eight times larger than the original, includes a working studio and gift store filled with delightful treasures for everyone, alongside a lush collection of indoor plants, orchids, and stunning floral arrangements. Botanical is a captivating and eclectic destination that promises to awaken your senses and uplift your spirit.
