Hello! I'm Charmaine, and my journey in the world of cake making spans more than 15 years. Ever since I discovered my love for baking as a child, I've been captivated by the art of crafting delicious creations.

In 2011, after welcoming my daughter into the world, I took a leap of faith and shifted my focus from a career in Wildlife Biology to cake decorating. What started as a small venture, baking for friends and family, blossomed into a thriving business on the Gold Coast--Sweet Frostings Cake Design. Over the years, it has earned a reputation as a cherished family enterprise.

I pride myself on my keen attention to detail and thrive on the challenges that come with creating unique cakes. It's been incredibly rewarding to receive recognition for my work, including several awards that celebrate my cake artistry. The highlight of my job is witnessing the joy and surprise on my clients' faces when they see their visions transformed into beautiful cakes.

I firmly believe that learning never stops, which is why I continually seek out opportunities to enhance my skills and stay updated on the latest wedding cake trends. Since paving the way for residential food licensing in 2011, Sweet Frostings operates proudly from my fully licensed home kitchen, ensuring that every creation is made with love and care.
