Dewi's journey into the world of hospitality began early, thanks to her family's extensive experience in hotel and restaurant management. After relocating to Australia in 2005 and leaving her life in Indonesia behind, she was ready to embark on a new adventure. With a background as a wedding sales and events executive at renowned hotels, transitioning to cake design felt like a natural progression. What started as a small home-based project soon blossomed into a full-fledged passion as her clientele grew.

As a self-taught baker, Dewi combined her fashion sense and insights from the wedding industry to craft stunning edible masterpieces. From its modest beginnings, Sweet Bloom Cakes has transformed into a business that continually sets new standards in the world of cake artistry.
