For many years, Michelle Pearson and Ben Nicholson had seen one another waiting at the school bus stop, but it wasn’t until Year 12 that they were finally introduced by a mutual friend. 

Accompanying each other to a graduation formal held at Le Montage overlooking the sparkling waters of Iron Cove Bay, little did they realise that they would return there seven years later on their wedding day.

Le Montage’s Marquee Room was filled with white chiffon drapes streaming from a central crystal chandelier, and each table was adorned with smaller chandeliers and fishbowl lace vases filled with roses and surrounded by tea lights. “The bridal table had a completely mirrored table top so everything reflected and sparkled throughout the night – it was incredible!” Michelle said.

With Michelle’s passion for dancing, everyone knew that the couple’s first dance to ‘This Old Love’ by Lior would be a spectacle.“It was a very special moment as we took to the floor as husband and wife for the first time, surrounded by the people that we love on a magical night at Le Montage.”
